Flip Board

How adorable is this little guy? He has been practicing on his "flip board" to be like his older cousins. Back in New York we called them skateboards, so I chuckled everytime he said flip board. Just so nobody out there gets nervous...he usually does wear a helmet and knee pads, but we left them home for this photo shoot! Enjoy your peek, C. Family!

Little Man

Mr. A looks so grown up in his varsity jacket! I think that he looks just like a little gap ad in these pics. I got kind of a flash of what he will look like in highschool. Watch out mama, those baby blues just may have a few girls following him home! Enjoiy these years now!

Pooch

I am having writer's block over this post...I assume the loss of any pet is not easy, but when they become such a part of your family, it is especially rough. Buster came into our lives 8 short years ago and our hearts were forever changed. He was in our wedding (co-ringbearer!), made our first house feel like home, stayed up late nights with our first born and was always there for a snuggle after a hard day. There will never be another Buster...I only have the lessons of unconditional love that he left behind!

Boys Will Be Boys

After a certain age, I have noticed that it gets harder to get boys to smile, yet they all still love to get dirty. Why is that?

Christmas Morning

Whenever I am with a really fun family, I always wonder what Christmas morning would be like at their house. Just laughing and cutting up around the tree all morning with this family would be a hoot! You could feel the love they all have for eachother. We pretty much smiled and giggled through this whole shoot. Thanks for giving me Christmas morning in November!

A squared

The L. Family along with big brother A., welcomed new baby A. into the family in late September. As you can tell, big brother is taking it all in stride! He is a natural at helping quite the baby down.

H. Family

The backdrop of this shoot was a beautiful fall day. It was actually the last day that most of the leaves were on the trees. Two days later we had a wind storm that turned mother's nature fall colored backdrop a couple darker shades of brown. The H. Family is very photogenic, so I couldn't go wrong!

Nolie Bear!

Look who is smiling! Baby N.'s 6 week photo shoot was fun because I was practicing with a flash that my friend loaned me. Oh yes, it has since been added to my Christmas list! Lighting is everything in photography and if I can master that, I will be on my way to the big time. I have to be smarter than a flash bulb, right?!

Friends and Neighbors

This is the last year that the M. family will all live together in the same house. C is staying behind in Illinois, while the others move to Indiana. It still isn't that far, but it will definitely be an adjustment. They are my neighbors by accident and my friends by choice. It will be an adjustment for me, also. I already tear up when I think about it! Enjoy your sneak peek, M. family!

Too Cute!

Not many girls can get away with chubby thighs and a short skirt. But something about baby girls in tutus just works! It is too cute! We celebrated V's 1st birthday with a little cake smashing and these were captured before the festivities. They turn into little ladies so quickly!

2 yr photo shoot?

I wanted to do Little B's 2 year photo shoot while we were home visiting in NY. I had it all planned to do really beachy photos because the weather was still so gorgeous in September. Well, B loves "diggers" and anything that he can scoop with his diggers and not thinking...I gave them to him way too early in the shoot. Once he started playing in the sand, I could not get him to look at me! I definitely captured a moment in time, but did a re-shoot back in Illinois. I had to get those eyes on film! Happy Birthday, my big boy! Mama loves you!

And baby makes...Four!

Baby Nolan has arrived! I was so worried if my heart could hold any more love than the love I feel for my first son and the instant I laid eyes on baby boy, I realized how crazy that notion is! Wow! A mother of 2 boys! Two boys 2 and under, nonetheless! I am in love a thousand times over! I fell in love when my husband gave me "those eyes" and now I have two little boys who melt me with "those eyes", also. Stay strong, mama...stay strong! :)
